Patrick Morningstar

President

Patrick Morningstar is owner and president of Floor Action, Inc. While he was an engineering student at North Carolina State University, Patrick joined what was then simply known as Floor Action, learning the trade from the bottom up. He began as an apprentice, and gradually worked to crew leader and then foreman, honing skills like edging, sanding, painting, volleyball and basketball equipment installation and wood floor installation. He then served as project manager for nearly 15 years before taking over as president in 2013. Patrick oversees the general operations of the company while maintaining a hands-on approach to the company’s projects.

Josh Walton

Vice President

Josh Walton is vice president and head of sales for Floor Action, Inc. Josh joined the company in 2015 with 12 years of experience in the wood flooring industry and nearly 20 total years of experience in the construction industry. Like Patrick, Josh began as an apprentice, working on installing, sanding, painting and finishing athletic floors before transitioning into sales. In 2010, he began as a sales representative and account manager, and has managed accounts for collegiate athletic conferences, individual universities, school districts, churches and community recreation centers. Josh maintains strong relationships with each of the company’s clients to ensure the delivery of the highest quality service.

Kathleen Mozinga

Office Administrator

Kathleen Mozingo has served as the office administrator for Floor Action, Inc. since 2005. Kathleen provides the company with book keeping, scheduling, payroll and account management services. Her pleasant and professional attitude is evident in her customer service interactions.
